Ruthie Diffenderfer Memorial Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established by Foundation Board member Dennis Diffenderfer in memory of his beloved wife Ruthie. Ruthie was a staunch advocate of Westmoreland’s Culinary Arts department and students, never missing one Chefs’ Table dinner.

*Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) results
*Can be full-time or part-time students
*Must be in good academic standing and have a Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
*Must be enrolled one of Westmoreland’s Culinary Arts programs and enrolled in their second year of study
*Preference will be given to residents of North Huntingdon, Irwin or North Irwin, PA
*Scholarship may be used for books and fees
